The New York State Mandarin Conversation textbook provides advanced and intermediate students with topics to practice their speaking skills.
Advanced and high-intermediate students receive the opportunity to apply their language skills in a way that is unique to our program: functioning as in-class teaching assistants. In this role, they use the Mandarin skills they have gained to guide and coach intermediate- and beginner-level students through in-class activities under the guidance of the primary classroom teachers.
